Roth daycare center

A new daycare centre is being built in the Hasenbühl district of the Middle Franconian town of Roth. Twenty years ago, city gardeners planted a linden tree on the site where the daycare will stand. Over the years, the sapling grew into an impressive 12-metre-tall tree.
The planners in charge immediately recognised that the tree was worth preserving and brought the team from Opitz International on board. To serve as future shade for the daycare children, the tree was professionally and safely relocated to the nearby Roth city park for temporary storage.
Once the facilities are completed, the tree will be moved back to its original location, where it can provide shade for the children while they play in the summer.
