Izmir Folkart Towers
Opitz in Turkey
The Folkart Towers are 47-story twin skyscrapers in the Turkish city of Izmir. Standing 200 meters tall, they were the tallest buildings in Izmir from 2014 to 2017. Upon their completion in 2014, the Folkart Towers were the fifth-tallest twin towers in Europe.
Construction of the towers began in 2011 and was completed in 2014. The company Opitz International was on-site in June 2014.
Today, they serve as a home and workplace for 4,000 people. In February 2015, the largest art gallery in Turkey, covering an area of 800 m², was opened within the towers.
