Linz St. Florian Golf Club

Following a devastating storm in July 2021, during which over 200 trees on the golf club grounds were severely damaged or completely uprooted, the Opitz International team is helping to restore the golf course to its original state. As a first step, 15 trees were moved to new locations using the OPTIMAL 2500 tree spade.
Philip Jungwirt is the board member responsible for the course:

"Trees serve many functions on our golf course. Beyond their aesthetic and ecological roles, they also fulfil specific sporting functions. For the most part, trees serve as boundaries between fairways, as natural obstacles, and, to a great extent, as protection for players against 'stray' golf balls coming from other fairways."
