Giant trees in Gothenburg

Giant trees are making way for a new railway line in Gothenburg.

Three massive trees were relocated for a new tunnel beneath the Swedish city of Gothenburg. The largest specimen weighed 186 tons and floated across the night sky on a 70 m² platform. The tunnel is part of Västlänken (West Link), a railway project for commuter and regional trains.
